What People's Say About Place

We went here when the place we intended to go was closed. I wasn't expecting much, but it was awesome. Guy at the counter was super helpful and recommended the beef ramen, which honestly was so much meat I ended up giving some to my SO. He got the gyudon (beef bowl), which was tasty, but he felt there wasn't enough meat to rice ratio (that being said, he isn't the biggest rice fan). The egg was cooked perfectly, though, with a nice runny yolk. My spicy beef Ramen was superb, but the true winner was the gyozas. Those got eaten so fast that I didn't have a chance for a picture. Clearly made fresh and a great texture, with a flavorful filling. And they had plenty of sauces and spices to add if you weren't happy, including fried garlic! Wish I lived on this island so I could visit again. Highly recommend for a fast, quick, and tasty meal.

Great food, good service, staff was helpful and friendly. Vegan options available.

Pros: I def reccomend their udon spicy chicken noodles (altho bigger and more chicken pieces would be better). We also tried their fried rice, ramen soup, gyoza, shrimp tempura and all had great flavor. Good value for food. Udon noodles were my favorite, yummy thick noodles Cons: The ramen took long to soften so we had to use the microwave, that was the only down side, which is unfortunate as ramen is their main menu. Maybe their broth wasn't too hot (To go order) Would return probably for the other items.

If you don’t feel like getting a plate lunch from one of Kukui Grove food court’s three local food places, Aloha Ramen is a decent alternative. Food is at Kaua’i prices, but the taste is acceptable and portion sizes are decent. This is especially the case for ramen, as they give you a ton of noodles. The one weird thing is that the miso ramen broth had a sort of a fruity flavor, almost like lilikoi.

The ramen is great! Broth is typical not unique. Charsiu is tender. Wish the add-on egg was marinated in soy sauce.

The chicken katsu curry is my favorite. It's not expensive and the portions are huge. I've had it many, many times. It's the best curry on the island! The waiter's attitude was very good!

For food court ramen, this was pretty amazing. Got the kimchi ramen with an added side of charsui pork (gotta get that protein). The to-go presentation was nice with a 2-part bowl so the toppings don't get soggy. Very nice touch. Expect to share the French fries as the portion was big .

A pleasant surprise! Our second time to the island and we've been searching for a good bowl of broth and noodles. Aloha delivered- we had the tantan and tonkastu.
